OPzV series Gel batteries use German tubular pure gel technology, key raw material imported from Europe, key production equipment imported from Europe. The Battery is designed and manufactured according to DIN standards and with die-casting positive grid and patent formula of active material. OPzV series exceeds DIN standard values with more than 20 years floating design life at 25℃ and is even more suitable for cyclic use under extreme operating conditions. This range is recommended for telecom outdoor applications, renewable energy systems and other harsh environment applications.

FAQ

Can we use Bisleri water in the battery?
No, neither RO water nor batteries should be used. It will still contain a small number of dissolved salts, which our bodies need, and this will eventually cause harm to the battery. Use only demineralized or distilled water.

How much water is in a tubular battery?
To be regarded within normal limits, the water level must be about a half inch over the tops of the plates. Make sure you use distilled water while adding more water. Minerals in tap water have the potential to reduce battery efficiency and hasten the pace of self-discharge.

Is tubular battery flooded?
Both flooded and gel battery types include tubular plate battery technology. Common uses for these batteries include backup systems, critical power configurations, and renewable, off-grid energy sources.

Is tubular battery deep cycle?
For a lead-acid battery, a deep cycle is defined as 50% of the depth of discharge. The frequent deep discharge, high charge cycles, and low maintenance requirements of solar applications were taken into consideration when designing tubular batteries. Because of this, tubular batteries are also deep cycle batteries.

What is the difference between deep cycle and tubular battery?
A battery’s deep-cycle capacity determines how far it may be depleted without suffering harm. Up to 80% of a tubular battery’s capacity can be discharged without causing damage. Because the electrode structure of flooded tubular batteries and gel tubular batteries is same. They can therefore both do deep cycles.

How do you store tubular batteries?
To stop corrosion from exposure, professionally clean the terminals and coat them with petroleum jelly. Now, keep the battery dry and cool (the ideal zone temperature is between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius). Every three months, try to recharge and check the electrolyte level.

Is tubular battery AGM or flooded?
Both flooded and gel battery types include tubular plate battery technology. Common uses for these batteries include backup systems, critical power configurations, and renewable, off-grid energy sources.

How many types of tubular batteries are there?
Short tubular batteries and tall tubular batteries are the two varieties of tubular batteries that are available.

What is the lifespan of tubular battery?
Tubular Batteries Vs Normal Batteries

Tubular Batteries Normal Flat plate batteries
High Cyclic Life Low cyclic life
4 to 5 years (Exide EL+ 8 years) is the average lifespan. Maximum 3 years
Low water loss Needs frequent water topping up
Operate consistently even at high temperatures. Useful only at recommended temperature conditions.
